2013 Oscar Predictions Best Original Screenplay

"Django Unchained."TWC Indiewire will provide regular updates of our predictions for the 85th Academy Awards through February 24th, when the winners are announced.
Here's our take on best original screenplay, which is a very tough call between "Amour," "Django Unchained" and "Zero Dark Thirty." The latter two screenwriters -- Quentin Tarantino and Mark Boal -- have both already won here before (Boal just three years ago), though this is Michael Haneke's first screenwriting nomination. Considering the Bigelow snub, voters aren't quite as keen on "Zero" as many suspected, and they might feel like Haneke will already get his Oscar in the foreign language race (though will he), so for now I say Tarantino.

Django Unchained has a chance to win a Best Original Screenplay in Oscar 2013
