After resigning due to a court case against him, he stood again after the ruling was stayed. He won a by-election with a good majority. He was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Season 6. Sidhu became a conscience keeper for the rest of the housemates during his stay in the house before he walked out of the show in an emergency exit due to some political commitments.
