2013 Grammy Awards
Capitol Records recordings Grammy Recording Academy will launch the 2013 Grammy Nominees album on January 22 and offer fans of music and GRAMMY two opportunities to attend the 55th or the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The album features 22 greatest hits critically acclaimed chart-topping thousands of artists from different genres.
The 19th edition of the best-selling collection features songs by categories representing nominees for Record of the Year Grammy, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Rock Performance , Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album.
Artists featured in the collection are Adele, Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, Florence & The Machine, Fun. with Janelle Monáe, Gotye, Hunter Hayes, Carly Rae Jepsen, the Lumineers, Maroon 5 with Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, Mumford & Sons, Muse, Frank Ocean, Katy Perry, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Jack White .
The album is made possible by a special arrangement with all major companies and music distribution labels rotated every year. A portion of the proceeds from the album benefit MusiCares Foundation and the GRAMMY Foundation - two charitable organizations established by The Recording Academy.
The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Sunday, February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8-11:30 pm (ET / PT).
